Extremly tasty mixture for a better digestion. Easy to prepare with warm or cold water.
Irish Mash is an easy to prepare, extremely tasty mixture, stimulating the digestion and the metabolism and should not be missing from the feeding schedule on days spent in the stable, when shedding, after high performances or illness:
Irish Mash has a century-long tradition of being fed to horses following hard work, when recuperating from an illness or to reduce the risk of colic. This warm, liquid to mushy mixture stimulates appetite and digestion, it purges the digestive tract (e. g. on days spent in the stable) and thus improves the metabolic function.
A combination of tradition and modern times
Irish Mash is a particularly delicious horse feed and has been formulated very much in keeping with the traditional Irish Mash recipe of wheat bran and flax seed. It has been developed in accordance with the latest nutritional science findings and contains the yellow flax seed that is gently cracked open in a very special procedure. It does not require any cooking and is very easy and quickly prepared. An easy digestion and a high nutritious value are ensured by its low starch content, by fine malt-yeast extracts, coriander and brewers yeast. Its moderate content in grain is highly digestible.
Beneficiary for all horses
With its dietic formula, Irish Mash is a light feed and no concentrated feed. Due to its intestine-nurturing qualities, it can even improve the feed efficiency of hard keepers. Since horses simply never seem to tire of Irish Mash, it is perfect as first feed after colic, an operation, severe illness, lack of appetite or chewing problems. Mash also considerably contributes to the regeneration after competitions, stud service and birth and proved to be especially valuable during shedding.
Irish Mash can be fed 1 – 3 times a week instead of concentrated feed and, in special cases (such as after an operation or stomach ulcers) even exclusively with hay and straw.
