Nutrients for the liver

Meta-Diät provides exactly those vital nutrients that support the equine liver function. Specific substances derived from milk thistle support the regeneration of liver cells (hepatocytes), and the bitter tasting compounds of the artichoke facilitate the absorption of fat in the liver.

Functional protective nutrients

Meta-Diät includes functional nutrients such as linseed, brewer’s yeast, wheat bran and B-vitamins that provide efficient nutritional support for the digestive system and thus contribute to reducing any intestinal toxins that might affect the organism’s organs.
Natural antioxidants, so-called OPC’s derived from grape seed extracts, vitamin E and membrane-stabilizing essential fatty acids such as derived from linseed, play an important part in the protection of the organ cells against radical compounds.

Meta-Diät for liver and kidneys

In order to gently provide a diet-related support for the work of liver and kidneys, the conventional concentrated feed is replaced by Meta-Diät which is particularly well-balanced and highly digestible. Meta-Diät is a substitute for concentrated feed and has to be given in larger quantities to ensure that the organism is provided with a sufficient amount of organ-functional nutrients. However, this is difficult to handle in some boarding stables. Besides, the daily ration of concentrated feed has to be reduced with many horses because they are easy keepers or because they do not have to work that hard so that it is impossible to feed enough Meta-Diät. In these cases, Equimeb Hepa is the perfect alternative.

Feeding recommendation	As an addition to the usual forage of high quality and / or pasture grass, we recommend about 400-500 g per 100 kg body weight per day. This total amount should be offered over several rations. With lower dosage or supply shortages, we recommend adding Glucogard or MicroVital. At higher energy requirements for example cornflakes or hay cobs be added.
